• For the bathroom
The bathroom is one part of the house that serves many purposes. This is where most of your grooming activities are done so adequate lighting is very important. If you have one member of the family that is a bathroom reader, provide him with a table lamp on the commode to avoid eyestrain.

• For the living room
There are a lot of lighting options you can try for your living room. If you have several end tables available, it is a good investment to buy beautifully designed table lamps that can surely add elegance to the room. Make sure that these lamps match the whole décor of the room. Why dump so many pieces of furniture in your bedroom so that you invariably trip over some of them while walking in the night? Bedrooms should have the barest minimum furniture.

The bed, apart from a side table, a wardrobe and a dressing table is the most that you should keep in your bedroom. Some people tend to keep study tables too for their late night work, but this is a definite no. Just keep the barest minimums furniture you need in your bedroom and see the comfort you get when you enter it. Putting some soft designed wallpapers on the walls go a long way in making your bedroom extremely comfortable. The lights of the bedroom should also be unique and different from those that are used in other rooms.

Nowadays one can avail of special mood lights that can be pre programmed to suit your mood. Just a push on the knob will change the entire lighting scheme of the bedroom. With one setting you can have a bit of brightness, ideal when you are doing some work. Your bedroom is your kingdom and you should treat it accordingly.
